Causes & Partners

‘Every person is created by God, loved and saved in Jesus Christ, and fulfils himself by creating a network of multiple relationships of love, justice and solidarity with other persons while he goes about his various activities in the world. Human activity, when it aims at promoting the integral dignity and vocation of the person, the quality of living conditions and the meeting in solidarity of peoples and nations, is in accordance with the plan of God’.

Food Parcels for Local Families

We provide food parcels to local families in need during school holidays. We work with local schools to identify families.

We aim to provide nutritious food, and currently support around 96 families each school holiday delivering substantial food parcels seven times per year.

The Local families supported live in the most deprived areas of the United Kingdom, and it is heart-breaking to hear of the many challenges and struggles families are continuing to experience.  Until things improve we will continue the food provision. Urgent food parcels are delivered when there is a crises.

100% of funds for the food parcels are spent on food; we have no overheads.

We have already issued an appeal to raise the $15,000 needed to fully repair Nour Shams centre, which was raided, and the sensory room vandalised in January.

We are now appealing for funds to extend the monthly emergency parcels to all centres for a further three months.
